Business Analyst

Position Description

Responsible for driving improvement in business capabilities and results through the development of best in class operational reporting solutions in support of Asset Management organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • ·         Gather and organize reporting requirements from business stakeholders
  • ·         Develop task lists and project plans to deliver reporting solutions on time
  • ·         Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize ad-hoc and reporting requests
  • ·         Communicate project status updates to stakeholders and leadership
  • ·         Decompose operational processes to understand and develop metrics
  • ·         Produce regular reporting accurately and timely on daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • ·         Create and maintain documentation (process flows, desk procedures, controls)
  • ·         Perform simple data extraction, interpretation, and aggregation
  • ·         Perform data quality checking to ensure output is clean and correct
  • ·         Perform special projects/assignments as needed


  • ·         Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
  • ·         Technical Required: Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and visuals
  • ·         Technical Required: Intermediate knowledge of automation through VBA
  • ·         Technical Required: Intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint for creating presentations
  • ·         Technical Preferred: Advanced knowledge of automation through VBA
  • ·         Experience Required: 3-5 years gathering reporting requirements
  • ·         Experience Required: 3-5 years managing simple to complex projects
  • ·         Experience Required: Experience working with stakeholders to prioritize requests
  • ·         Experience Required: Experience communicating and presenting information
  • ·         Experience Preferred: Experience in consumer financing industry (auto, mortgage, etc.)
  • ·         Experience Preferred: Experience working in an operational role or environment
  • ·         Experience Preferred: Experience in auto consumer financing industry
  • ·         Experience Preferred: Practical experience working with large datasets with SAS knowledge
  • ·         Experience Preferred: Experience in extracting, loading, cleansing & manipulating data in SAS
  • ·         Experience Preferred: Practical experience using reporting tools (Cognos, Tableau, Qlik, or similar)
