Controller-E&P

An energy related firm is looking for a Controller-E&P. Job responsibilities include: The controller will be dealing with the commercial and execution of oil and gas assets and evaluating the non technical side of energy packages/deals. Also would be responsible of the Marketing, dealing with gas contracts, historical financial data for existing deals, land evaluation, and handling description leases for these energy assets
Record revenue: operated revenue gas allocations and booking, includes gas balancing calculation as needed.
Revenue checks process: revenue close process
Revenue Accruals ¿¿ assist as needed
Severance Taxes:

State Royalty reports and payments: Purchaser Receivable reconciliations
G/L account reconciliations
Other: Assist in mailing of revenue checks; filing of revenue checks in purchaser folders
Assist with other projects as needed: i.e.; mail 1099¿¿s, set up CDEX in Bolo

Strong communicaion skills

Qualifications: BBA in Accounting; 12  years Oil & Gas revenue accounting experience; strong interpersonal and analytical skills must come from a Mid Cap Energy Company or a Large Independent Energy Company
Compensation : 145k plus bonus
