We are currently seeking a results-oriented, talented, and experienced Product Manager (PM) to incubate a new business line within Shutterstock. The PM will take full and direct responsibility for this product, working closely with a dedicated tech resource to spec, prioritize, and execute the launch and growth of this new business unit.  He or she will communicate and coordinate time lines internally and will be responsible for customer satisfaction, revenue goals and all other strategic imperatives.  The PM will report directly to Shutterstock's CEO and to the company's Director of Corporate Development.

Your Responsibilities will include:
- Plan, organize, prioritize, and execute the launch of a new product
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap
- Maintain a thorough understanding of both user and internal business requirements
- Identify and recommend new market and revenue opportunities
- Be an expert on emerging trends relevant to crowdsourced creative content
- Author documentation such as business plans, business requirements, product requirements, flow charts and wireframes
- Analyze and communicate the performance of product initiatives
- Collaborate with third-party partners, suppliers and services
- Be an expert on all aspects of the product internally, and act as the product evangelist for the customer base


Compensation:
- salary from $60k-$90k depending on experience
- annual bonus dependent on performance

Required Skills - minimum of 2 years of experience as a Product Manager in the web publishing, SEO, or digital content industries, preferably with experience managing online marketplaces

- demonstrated success in increasing revenue, strategic positioning and customer satisfaction

- strong leadership skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all disciplines and levels within the organization

- excellent written and verbal communication skills

- ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously

- passion for your work- strong initiative- strong organizational skills

- strong time management skills

- experience with all aspects of the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC)

- understanding of user experience (UX), usability and design patterns

- familiarity with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), syndication and/or networking tools

- proficient with the following tools or tool sets:

Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, & Powerpoint or their equivalent, Photoshop, bug-tracking, Digital Asset Management (DAM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), analytics, project management, sales and collaboration solutions

Pay Range $60,000.00 Annually to $90,000.00 Annually
