United Business Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dynamic individual for a position as Resident DRE. Our client is a global developer of custom engineered and application specific products and solutions. Their focus is on design, development and manufacture of solutions for customer applications utilizing our technical capabilities in the areas of power distribution, sensors, human-to-machine interface and testing.
 
Description:
 
The Resident Design Release engineer (DRE) will be responsible for on-site technical and organizational support of integrated center stack (ICS) electronics product development for future vehicle applications.
 
The Resident Design Release engineers’ responsibilities will be to:
 
  • Organize and attend periodic PDT meetings between our client and automotive OEM core teams.
  • Coordinate peer reviews and key customer product development approvals and sign-offs.
  • Draft, release and support product release configuration and OEM’s part number issuance.
  • Author, (co-author) and process all EOW documents for design release and change management in OEM’s EE system.
  • Attend and support EWO CAB meetings for changes related to client products.
  • Facilitate timely math data and drawing releases (MDR) with client design staff.
  • Attend and support all program department group meetings, cockpit team meetings, warranty reviews, etc.
  • Provide liaison support to all OEM GVDP deliverables including; mock-up samples, bench samples, verification builds, integration vehicles, appearance and TALC reviews.
