The intern will rotate during the 18 months internship in various positions as follows:

Front Desk Agent - Responsible for greeting, welcoming, and anticipating the guests' needs. Check guests into or out of the hotel and confirm credit and payment method at check in. $10.50/hour

Cashier/Order Taker - Responsible to post hotel charges, keep accurate records, communicate well with guests either via phone or in person and anticipate guests' needs. $10/hour

Bell Person - Responsible to greet guests upon arrival, deliver luggage to guest rooms, escort guests giving orientation to resort, load luggage to cars, open doors and deliver packages as necessary.

Recreation Attendant - Assist in such areas as spa, pool, ocean club and golf cart room to create a memorable experience for the guest. $7.00 per hour

Housekeeping Room Attendant - Responsible to ensure the cleanliness of guest room sand public areas to Hotel standards. $ 9.50/hour

Hours of Work

Hours of work are varied and will fluctuate in accordance with staffing and business levels. Employees may be required to work overtime and additional shifts. As the hotel operates 24 hours a day, shifts may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, nights and split shifts. Days off could be any days of the week, not necessarily on weekends.

Uniforms

Uniforms are provided for most positions and colleagues are required to have appropriate safety footwear. The hotel provides laundering of uniforms on a complimentary basis. A grooming policy is also in effect.

Paid Job Training for International Graduate Students, requires placement fee from Graduate Student, yet will receive this back as part of payment via hourly wage. Usually tax free burden to international student through US tax treaties. This is an opportunity for a graduate international person to work with a top US company and learn invaluable experience and training.
