Clinical Specialist (Dallas, TX) ; a new Clinical Support (Wound Care) opportunity with this market and world leading manufacturer and distributor of medical rehabilitation products, now preparing to launch a New Division within the wound care market segment and a new product release! This leading medical sales company conducts business in more than 80 countries around the world and is now looking for several clinical wound care specialists (RN, Registered Nurse, BSN, Bachelor of Science Nursing, or PT, Physical Therapist) as they prepare for their full entry into the wound care/negative pressure therapy market segment (Acute Care, Long Term Care and some Home Health Care with no patient call points).
The right person will ideally be from the industry currently supporting a medical manufacturer in a clinical and/or sales support role. They will consider those BSN’s, RN’s and Physical Therapists who are currently working within a clinical setting IF they have experience in wound care and a working knowledge of negative pressure therapy. All individuals applying must have wound care background and at least a basic “hands on” understanding of negative pressure therapy. This is a ground floor opportunity within a large company umbrella and an exciting time to join their sales team in a clinical specialist role with room for advancement!
Must have an entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to embrace change and the flexibility needed to successfully support a new Division and Product Launch.
Essential functions of job are as follows:
- Conduct Educational programs
- Product In-servicing, customer support and implementation assistance
- Provide product and clinical support to all customer segments: Acute Care, Long Term Care and Home Health Care.
- Build and strengthen customer relationships (especially Key Opinion Leaders)
- Support Tradeshows and Industry Conferences
- Lead collection and dissemination of clinical information
- Develop and execute educational procedures, tools and protocols
- Participate in cross functional teams to enhance knowledge of wound therapies
Position Location and Coverage:

• 35% to 40% travel
Compensation:
- Salary range 73K to 90K (dependent upon experience)
- 10% Bonus (tied to company/territory sales performance)
