| Description |
Seattle Genetics is looking for an experienced Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst to help manage and develop our business systems. This includes existing systems, such as the Great Plains Dynamics accounting system and new systems initiatives. This individual will be responsible for implementing projects from initiation to completion of implementation, including gathering requirements, writing functional and process design documents, communicating requirements to technical team members, testing, implementation, training, and support to end users. This individual will also be responsible for maintenance of business systems used in the finance department. This position requires strong knowledge of project management and well experienced in delivering solutions on time.
Responsibilities:
• Partners with users to identify information gathering and reporting needs, identify and evaluate alternatives, and lead the team in implementing solutions.
• Development of a Project Plan that accurately captures all stages of a projects life cycle (initial launch, enhancements/additions, communication, change management, etc)
• Develop requirement documentation that will capture the needs of the various users of a system.
• Act as a liaison between business users and any technical team members.
• Ensure that proposed system features and requirements meet user needs and satisfy business objectives and initiatives.
• Perform and coordinate User Acceptance testing to ensure the system is satisfying. requirements, and operating in accordance with expectations, as well as determining compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Develop procedures that maximize operational efficiencies while maintaining sound internal controls.
• Organize periodic meetings with business process owners to communicate project status and ensure timely completions.
• Provide production support on day-to-day issues.
• Support and enhance Great Plains interfaces integrated with non-Great Plains systems.

| Required Skills |
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Accounting, Computer Science or other relevant degree. - Minimum 5 years of implementation and support experience with business systems, particularly accounting systems. - Well versed on MS Office products including Excel, Word, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, and Project. - Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills. - Problem solver who implements solutions to solve root cause problems. - Ability and willingness to collaborate and share information within a team and work across departments. - Ability to focus on assigned tasks, keep work prioritized to meet deadlines. - Strong knowledge on MS SQL query tools. - Experienced in advanced Excel, Access, Crystal Reports functions, or other reporting tools.
