Interactive Online Marketing Sales Manager - East Coast

Our client is a global provider of high quality and cost-effective Information Technology Services.  An onsite/onshore/offshore company that provides value-added outsourcing solutions to their customers.  The successful candidates will sell Application Development, Application Management, Custom Product Development, etc through the use of interactive, online marketing campaigns. They are seeking an experienced professional with Interactive Marketing Sales experience with a major ITO Company. Job profile is new business development on all aspects of Interactive Marketing - particularly social media marketing, consumer interactivity engagement, brand engagement, interactive media and marketing performance measures.  This position carries annual revenue quotas.

The company currently has (1) virtual position which can be located in any major city on the East Coast.  The successful candidate MUST have 8+ years experience developing online marketing campaigns for a leading ITO company. Responsibilities:

 

Business Development:

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy and plan, new business development, provide business development directions and new business models.
  • Manage and close sales opportunities through resource allocation, account strategy and planning.
  • Sell the value of our client's offerings at executive decision maker level
  • Drive sales over the internet and in person through discovery calls and presentations
  • Increase pipeline through demand generation and targeted campaigns focused on existing our client's database and prospects

 

Business Partnerships:

  • Form business partnerships with players in the Advertising ecosystem


Product Management: 

  • Provide strategic guidance on new products /services & provide strategic guidance on sale-ability of the qualified product/platform ideas pipeline.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of products and technologies, competitors, industry trends
  • Report on market climate, competitive position and specific sales opportunities, as part of personal annual and long-term business plan development and implementation


Relationship Management:

 

  • Job Involves building relationships with senior level decision makers and key executives, seizing control of critical business problems, and delivering client value benefits.

Experience Guidelines (either or)

 

  • Has worked in Sales function of Interactive Marketing Agencies such as Ogilvy, Razorfish etc.
  • Has worked in Interactive Marketing Sales function of companies such as IBM, Accenture, Sapient etc.
  • Demonstrated business savvy and willingness to learn quickly about a wide variety of industries


Education

  • Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in marketing or related area of study


Skills Required

  • Eight+ years sales experience within the online marketing industry
  • Confident self-starter with a great attitude and strong organizational skills
  • Successful track record of “consultative selling” at enterprise level
  • Expertise in the Online Marketing/Advertising Industry (Online Advertising, Search, Website solutions, Consulting)
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Ability to write and converse creatively, concisely, and persuasively
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Personal traits: tactful, flexible, collaborative, decisive, creative, energetic, articulate
  • Travel will be required
