A U.S. Work Experience for students with a year or more of hospitality related education seeking an understanding of the hospitality industry. This culinary internship will consist of a rotation through different areas of the culinary department in various hourly positions. This can include Garde Manger, Butcher, Saucier, Banquets, Room Service, Restaurants and time in the Chef's Office. This is a fast paced environment position and requires good communication skills as well as good organization.
This internship is paid at an annual salary of $26,000 based on an average work week of 45 hours per week. This is an hourly position.
Paid Job Training for International Graduate Students, requires placement fee from Graduate Student, yet will receive this back as part of payment via hourly wage. Usually tax free burden to international student through US tax treaties.
